Duravit’s Open Space Shower Enclosure Adds Space to the Bathroom

In recent years, it seems that more homeowners are becoming interested in opening up their bathrooms, especially the master bathroom, to make it more like a spacious retreat than just a place to clean up. As a result of the desire for a more open floor plan, more of our manufacturers are creating products that better suit this style, and Duravit is just one of those manufacturers that is catering to the wishes of consumers.

Take a look at Duravit’s new Open Space Shower Enclosure that was recently featured on 3rings. It creates a clean, open look that “not only increases perceived space, but actual space as well.”

You might find yourself asking “How does that work?” Well, the shower enclosure is made of a chrome frame that fits into the corner of a bathroom. It has two sides made of translucent or mirrored glass doors that are attached by hidden hinges. The doors can be folded against the wall when the shower isn’t in use, which adds a little extra space to the bathroom.

Pretty neat, right?
